Acre Baja Wedding
The ceremony and reception were held at the Acre Baja. Getting Ready and anything before the ceremony happened at the JW Marriott.
Designed by Seattle based architect Jim Olson, the hotel was created to look different every hour of the day. Lights and shadows were creating a unique setting that changed while we were shooting and it helped me achieve some great images.
The entire morning was filled emotions and there was no holding back once Scott & Alyssa saw each other for the first time during the day. You will see what I mean once you scroll down.
We made our way to the Acre Baja for the actual wedding early afternoon to catch the best possible light for the ceremony. This place is literally insane.
It is simply beautiful and a small oasis in the hinterlands of San Jose Del Cabo. You basically drive up a small and dirty road up until this oasis appears out of nowhere.
The ceremony was just perfect as you will see in the images and once it was time for the portraits, we got the best possible light for our photos. If you are planning an Acre Baja Wedding, you will also fall in love with the food they serve.
The pre-wedding dinner we had the night before and the food during the reception were simply amazing. Local ingredients that made the tastiest dishes I ever had during a wedding.
The atmosphere, once everybody started to dance after dinner, was something else. People were screaming and singing along to the tunes all night, making this a wedding to remember.
I would love to go back for another wedding at the Acre Baja, so fingers crossed. Big thank you to the team behind Karla Casillas, wedding planners from San Jose Del Cabo that made this event truly special.
