Hey there, engaged lovebirds! My name is Lukas, and I had the pleasure of shooting multiple weddings at the Acre in the past years and need to tell you how amazing it is. It is hands down the best wedding venue in Cabo and even my favorite in Mexico and the US. It's a laid-back, unique destination wedding spot. It should be at the top of your wedding venue list if you are into lush jungle settings, fantastic food, perfect weather, and all kinds of animals. Wedding planning has never been so easy once you finished my blog post, believe me!

You'll be surrounded by a bunch of animals at Acre Baja. Peacocks roaming around the resort, donkeys and horses ready for a visit, pigs, goats, rabbits, a camel, and dozens of cute little dog puppies waiting for love.

It's a true paradise for animal lovers and one of the most unique experiences you can have at the resort.

Acre Dogs is the most extensive project and was founded in 2017. Since then, hundreds of puppies have already been adopted, and everyone is welcome to help adopt a fur baby.

If you're considering getting married in Cabo, the best time is between May and July. This is when the crowds are smaller, and the weather is perfect. As a result, you'll have the ideal climate for your wedding weekend.

Plus, you'll avoid the storm season, which typically hits between August and October. Now, if you're open to a fall wedding, remember that August and September are the rainiest months in Cabo, with humidity levels reaching 75%.

But on the flip side, it's also typically less crowded and often cheaper to travel during this time. So if you're on a budget or looking for a more intimate setting, a fall wedding in Cabo might be the perfect option. Just keep an eye on the weather forecast and have a backup plan in case of rain or storm.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Cabo is known for its beautiful sunsets, so if you're planning an outdoor ceremony or reception, consider scheduling it in the late afternoon or early evening to take advantage of the stunning colors in the sky and impress your bridal party.

And lastly, if you're looking for a more private and secluded experience, consider getting married during the week instead of on the weekend. This way, the resort should be a little less crowded with visitors.

Some things that you should know and think about

Your beautiful acre Baja wedding needs to be perfect, so you must consider the budget. Unfortunately, the resort does not have any specific wedding packages on its website, as each wedding is unique, and they customize everything for you.

The average couple spent between $45,000 - $60,000 for their Baja wedding at Acre. It is the Cabo wedding venue, but it's worth it! Feel free to visit the Acre website and inquire with them to get more info on costs.

Acre Resort Wedding Package - Wedding planning with cost in mind

Planning a wedding in Los Cabos is challenging, especially if you don't live in the area. Think about hiring a wedding planner that can help you with vendors, the wedding timeline, and anything else.

Ultimately, you want to enjoy your wedding day and not think about all the tiny things you need to do to improve your guest experience.

I recommend Martha Ayala, who is local and can surely help get the perfect Los Cabos wedding.

What about a wedding planner?

As amazing as the Acre resort is, it might not be the best choice for you personally. There are other excellent venues in the area. Check out my Cabo Wedding Guide, which offers more options and gives you some additional info for your Cabo Wedding.
