A Barbados wedding with Iyesha &Kyle
The wedding day itself was truly unique experience as everything came together perfectly. All of their guests shared so much positive energy and it was a pleasure to shoot throughout the entire day.
A wonderful villa location for the getting ready, an incredible beach ceremony and the couple shoot at the North point in Barbados will never be forgotten. The North point was so windy and even rainy that it felt as I was shooting in Iceland after all.
I only wish that I could have spent some more time in Barbados as I fell in love with the people and especially the food. The weather and landscapes were not so bad either, so I will come back one day and hopefully be able to drive around the entire island to experience everything.
Iyesha & Kyle contacted me last year after they saw my Iceland wedding with Jasmine & Patrick on my blog here. We exchanged some emails and decided to meet in person, while I was over in New York for LOOKSLIKEFILM. We met up for a coffee and initially bonded and it was clear to me that this wedding would be something special.
The time passed by so quickly and when I landed in Barbados some weeks ago, I was stoked from the first minute and could not wait to tell the story of Iyesha & Kyle. I even made some new friends over at my apartment as a German couple was staying there with me.
You might have seen some images of Lena & Tayfun on my Instagram recently as well. We cruised around the island and looked for the best spots where I could shoot Iyesha & Kyle on the wedding day and found the best place all the way in the North of the island.
