Yet, my recent experience at the Beldi Country Club in Marrakesh, Morocco, left an unforgettable impression on me. MY FIRST IMPRESSIONS AT THE BELDI COUNTRY CLUB
The moment I arrived at the Beldi Country Club, I was struck by how vast and diverse the venue is. From lush gardens and charming souks to luxurious spas and elegant restaurants, it felt like an oasis of beauty and tranquility. Every corner of the property is thoughtfully designed, offering countless backdrops for photos.
For Nikki and Patrick’s wedding, the ceremony took place in the greenhouse, one of my favorite spaces at the venue. The greenhouse is a dream for photographers—it’s filled with soft, diffused light thanks to its glass walls, which are beautifully framed by greenery. This space allows couples to enjoy the charm of the outdoors without worrying about harsh sunlight or unpredictable weather.
A MORNING FILLED WITH MAGIC
Before the ceremony began, I spent the morning exploring the venue and capturing the intricate details of the property. The way the light fell onto the cactus trees, reflected off the water, and danced across the Moroccan tiles was simply mesmerizing. Every room seemed to tell its own story through the interplay of light and shadows, creating a magical atmosphere.
During the getting-ready moments, the soft Moroccan light created the perfect ambiance for intimate and cinematic shots. Nikki’s stunning veil, adorned with Arabic-inspired sun and moon ornaments, looked incredible as the sunlight streamed through the windows. Patrick, looking dapper and relaxed, was also a joy to photograph in the soft glow of the morning light.
A GREENHOUSE CEREMONY

The ceremony in the greenhouse was nothing short of perfection. Guests sat comfortably in a space that balanced the warmth of Morocco with a cool, serene atmosphere. The soft, neutral light in the greenhouse allowed me to capture Nikki and Patrick’s vows in a way that felt natural and timeless.
Once the ceremony concluded, the couple stepped outside for a quick cocktail hour surrounded by family and friends. The lush gardens, with their vibrant greens and warm tones, provided the perfect backdrop for candid moments and heartfelt laughter.

As the sun dipped lower on the horizon, the evening light transformed the entire venue into something truly magical. The warmth of the golden hour added a cinematic quality to every shot, elevating the portraits I captured of Nikki and Patrick. A RECEPTION FULL OF MOROCCAN CHARM
The dinner and reception were held under the stars, blending traditional Moroccan elements with a modern celebration. Nikki and Patrick made their grand entrance carried in ornate Moroccan wedding chairs—a nod to local traditions. The guests erupted in cheers as they made their way to the dance floor, setting the tone for an incredible evening.
The dinner setup was exquisite, featuring authentic Moroccan dishes that delighted everyone’s senses. Inside, the room was adorned with Arabic lanterns hanging from the ceiling, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere for heartfelt speeches.
The night ended with a lively party outside, complete with a DJ, live music, and endless dancing under the warm Moroccan sky.
