Positano is known for its hot and dry summers. Luckily, sea breezes make hot temperatures enjoyable. Temperatures can climb up to 32°C, but usually cool down to around 19°C during the night. If you love sunny and warm weather, then you should definitively choose a summer wedding in Positano. Rain showers are usually rare during this season and are quite welcome as they cool down the summer heat for a couple of hours.

THE BEST TIME FOR GOOD RATES
Winter in Positano is usually quite cold with temperatures as cool as 13°C during the day. It is rare that temperatures are freezing and the rainy season usually last throughout the whole winter. We recommend planning a wedding during the end of January because of the vivid yellow flowers of blooming mimosa. The winter months are usually not that busy, that´s why you can get good booking rates.

THE BEST TIME FOR MODERATE WEATHER
If you are having trouble with hot weather during summer, then you should consider planning your wedding in Positano during early autumn or late spring. Autumn in Positano is known for its mild weather and the water of the sea is still warm and perfect for swimming. The rainy season peaks in November, so make sure to book a venue with an indoor option.
