TRADITIONS MEET AT THIS UNFORGETTABLE Sikh JEWISH WEDDING
When Steph & Indi reached out to me, I knew that this wedding would be unique. The idea was to have both the Sikh & Jewish Wedding in one day. That already sounded super exciting because what more can you wish for?
It is hard to put into words what the atmosphere on that day felt like, and I hope my images can do any justice at all. I will try to guide you through the story as best as I can.
A BIG SANGEET PARTY TO START IT ALL

A VERY UNIQUE WAY TO START A WEDDING WEEKEND

Before we even start with the wedding day, we have to go back to the day before the wedding. Steph & Indi held an amazing Sangeet Pre-Wedding Celebration with all of their family and friends. I just wanted to share some snaps with you to get a feel about it as it would be simply way too much too feature all of the images in this blog post. The Sangeet was amazing, with good music, awesome food and a lot of tradition.

THE START OF THE WEDDING

1 HOTEL Brooklyn Bridge
Everybody was still a bit exhausted from the Sangeet the night before, but that didn't stop anyone from enjoying this beautiful morning in NYC.
It was my second time at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, and I am still in love with this venue. The light in the morning was extraordinary, and it was a joy to use the strong contrasts of lights & shadows in artistic ways.
Steph & Indi were writing their vows this morning and also special love notes to each other.

a stunning dress for the anand karaj

BY Anita Dongre NYC

Stephanie chose to wear her wedding couture by Anita Dongre. She initially wanted a pastel outfit for her Sikh Jewish wedding. Still, She changed her mind once she saw this gorgeous red-orange lehenga with a blue dupatta.
Her outfit was completed by some more jewelry by Anita Dongre, her wedding ring by Vale Jewelry, and some heirloom gold bangles that were given to her by her mother-in-law.

Let the jewish wedding start

Once the Anand Karaj was over and we were able to create some fantastic images in the streets of Brooklyn, Steph & Indi started all over again.
A new getting ready, a new haircut, a new dress, a fresh shave for Indi to be prepared for his big surprise gift by Stephanie.
The second part of this gorgeous Sikh Jewish wedding was just about to start.

A great reception & Party to end it all

we were dancing all night

The end of this beautiful multicultural wedding with Indian & Jewish traditions came to an end with a blasting party. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the excellent music and atmosphere. I will never forget this experience and hope to be part of such a fantastic event again.
