Villa la Selva is a magical wedding venue in the heart of Tuscany that offers you lots of history, culture and fascinating landscapes. The venue can be reached by a 20 minutes drive from Siena and a 50 minutes drive from Florence. You can host weddings with up to 250 guests and enjoy the surrounding vineyards, the vine cellar and the luxurious atmosphere of this place.

If you choose to get married at this captivating setting, you can enjoy dinner in the sixteenth century Italian garden, dance in the Ceremony Hall and walk through the ancient cellar with vault ceilings. Villa di Maiano is located near Castello di Vincigliata and offers you indoor and outdoor wedding venues.

You can exchange your vows right under the branches of an old oak tree and later have your first dance in an old ballroom with lots of antique chandeliers.

The magnificent church of San Martino a Maiano sits right next to the Villa. It can be incorporated into your wedding if you plan a Catholic ceremony. This location easily fits over 200 guests.

The Main Villa and the adjacent farmhouse can accommodate up to 39 guests and the chapel is perfect for ceremonies with up to 120 people.

Get married at the Limonaia Garden, a historical, ornamental lemon garden with a fountain, take pictures at the Lawn with a Pergola and celebrate your special day at the swimming pool area.

This unique location is situated right underneath Piazzale Michelangelo and guarantees you stunning views of Florence.

The Rose Garden features up to 350 different types of roses, a Japanese garden, and bronze statues.

You can have a civil ceremony from May through September right at the terrace of the garden.

Borgo Stomennano is a beautiful estate with a villa and several farm houses that is located in Chianti Classico, just 10km away from Siena and 60 km away from Florence.

You can host ceremonies with up to 180 guests there, and up to 38 guests can even stay there overnight.

Get married in the beautiful garden surrounded by the tuscan countryside, have dinner in the front or back garden next to the medieval Borgo Stomennano or just inside the villa in a historic hall.

You can get married at the shore of the lake, celebrate on the lawn of the villa surrounded by centuries old trees and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the historic villa.

You can even take a romantic boat trop on the lake, enjoy the Belvedere terrace of the boat house and use the Pavillion by the lake for dinner..

What do you need to get married in Tuscany?

Getting married in Tuscany AS a foreigner can be a bit tricky, but it definitifely worth the effort!

For a civil, or religious wedding ceremony, make sure to prepare these documents:

THE BEST TIME FOR LOTS OF SUN

Summer time in Tuscany can get quite hot, especially in July and August with temperatures around 30°C.

If you love lots of sun and hot weather, then the summer months might be just perfect for you.

Enjoy light breezes from the sea at the coast or choose a venue that sits right in the mountains for cooler temperatures.

Winter

THE BEST TIME FOR MILD DAYS AND GOOD RATES

Winter in Tuscany usually offers mild days and cold nights.

You still can enjoy lots of sunny days, but there might even be snowfall in the mountains, especially during January and February.

If you choose to get married in Tuscany during winter, you will most likely have lower rates and fewer crowds during your visit.

THE BEST TIME FOR MILD WEATHER

The best time to plan your destination wedding might be between late September and October and between April and May.

During these months you will most likely enjoy comfortable temperatures and fewer crowds at popular spots in Tuscany.

Early spring is also perfect for low rates, but you still can enjoy the sunny weather.
