Next steps
You are interested, now what?
The first step is to schedule a call. This is a relaxed, informal chat to get to know each other, discuss your vision for the day, and answer any questions you might have. It’s important to me that we connect, as your comfort and trust are key to capturing your story authentically. Once we’ve decided to move forward, we’ll finalize the details with a wedding contract. Once it’s signed and the deposit is paid, your date is officially reserved, set in stone and ready to go! From there, we’ll plan two to three additional calls leading up to your wedding day. These conversations are essential for building a relationship, so I’m not a stranger with a camera on your big day. Getting to know you both helps me capture your real, unfiltered selves, the emotions, the connections, the you that makes your love story unique. In these calls, we’ll also dive into planning certain photography aspects of your wedding day. We’ll discuss timelines, locations, and, most importantly, light. Light plays a crucial role in creating beautiful images, so we’ll work together to ensure we make the most of it throughout the day. Finally, during our last call, we’ll talk about the people who matter most to you. Your inner circle, the family and friends you cherish deeply, are at the heart of your wedding day. I want to know their names, how they look like and understand their importance to you. These are the people whose presence will be most meaningful in your images for decades to come, preserving their memory for generations. My goal is to create an experience that feels effortless and personal, while crafting images that you’ll treasure for a lifetime. Let’s make something truly unforgettable together!
Questions
What are the next steps if we want to book you and secure our date?
When you book me, upon signing the contract, you are required to pay a 50% booking deposit. The rest of the payment has to be done in any time before the elopement. Payment can either be done by bank transfer or credit card.
Can you hold our date so we can make sure nobody else books it?
I work on a first come, first serve basis. Once the deposit is paid your wedding date is firmly secured. Sadly I can not hold dates for you without signing the contract and paying a deposit.
How long does it take for you to finish our images and how to we access them?
Your photos will be delivered to a secured online gallery, that will be available for you, your guests and your family once editing is done. The photos will be ready for download in the highest possible quality without any watermarks. It takes up to 3 months to get your images done, but this can also happen sooner. A number of preview images are done within the first days after the wedding. The last thing I would want to do is rush over your wedding, just to get it done by the deadline. Delivery dates change depending on low / high season. If for whatever reason, you need your images sooner, do let me know and I will see if it is possible.
Do we need to take care of your travel expenses?
Travel expenses are included to major US cities. Please contact me for a detailed look at travel costs.
How long in advance do you arrive before our wedding?
I usually arrive to meet you one or two days before the wedding. We can use this time to get to know each other, plan everything and even scout locations together.
What happens if you get sick or will not be able to make it?
In the case of a higher force of nature, If I won’t be able to make it. I have a number of backup photographers that can be contacted and provide the same high-quality work. All images will still be edited by me!
